How to get there:

• Air: Qantas, JetStar and Virgin Blue offers direct flights from capital cities such as Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne to Hamilton Island or Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine). From the airport you can take the bus (Whitsunday Shuttle Services) or a Taxi.

• Bus: bus connections such as Mc Caffertys and Greyhound from Brisbane and Cairns.

• Car: on the Bruce Highway between Brisbane (1150 km) and Cairns (700 km), 150 km north of Mackay and 300 km south of Townsville.
